The annual Andover Family Fun Fest kicks off today! The following is a list of scheduled activities as noted in the "Andover Today" city newsletter. The Magic Bounce Fun Zone, helicopter rides, community booths and food and beverage vendors will be available throughout the festival.


Friday, July 9th

6-7 p.m.: National Karate School demo

6-8 p.m.: Teen dance (near Magic Bounce)

6-9 p.m.: Bingo (west tent)

7-7:45 p.m.: Geoff Williams Magic Show

8-11 p.m.: Kick off dance (main stage), The Resistors

Saturday, July 10th

7 a.m.: Fun run registration

7-10 a.m.: YMCA open house - Free Adult Fitness Aquatics

8 a.m.: 5K Fun Run/Walk begins

9 a.m.: Kids Fun Run begins

10-10:30 a.m.: Anoka County Kennel Club: Meet the Breed (west lot, Community Center)

10 a.m.-8 p.m.: Craft and Gift Show (inside Community Center)

10 a.m.: Baby crawling xontest (city garages by main stage)

11 a.m.: Parade

Noon-5 p.m.: Environmental classroom

Noon-4 p.m.: Public safety and city vehicle display (west lot, Community Center)

12:30-1 p.m.: National Karate demonstration

1-1:45 p.m.: The Wonderful World of Woody (east tent stage)

1-4 p.m.: Petting zoo (west lot, Community Center)

1-6 p.m.: Silent auction (center tent)
