Anoka County has a new Down Payment Assistance Program available through Anoka County Community Action Program, Inc. It was implemented to help first-time homebuyers purchase homes more affordably. It provides deferred loans that can be used for downpayment assistance. Eligible buyers may be able to bring their monthly housing costs down to 30% of income.

There are several eligibility requirements including: lender match requirements, income, employment, property requirements, qualification & homebuyer training.
