Anoka's Fall Recycling Drop off Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 8 a.m. to Noon at 641 Jacob Lane (near Castle Field off Greenhaven Road). Items accepted are appliances, automobile batteries, bicycles, curbside (single-sort) materials, electronics, fluorescent bulbs, furniture, household items, mattresses & box springs, scrap metal and tires. They will also have a paper shredding vehicle available to securely shred your personal documents. The Anoka Lions will also be collecting used ink cartridges, eyeglasses, and cell phones.
