The Coon Rapids Sustainability Commission is putting on a Green Expo Saturday, April 24, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Coon Rapids Civic Center.

There will be many things to learn about living a "greener" life including: home energy audits, recycling, composting, rain gardens, green landscaping and native planting, community gardens, green demolition, building green, cleaning products, alternative transportation, watershed/storm water management, consignment shops and insulating the home.
