According to an article from www.kare11.com, Hennepin County is to be receiving millions of federal money to work on homes with lead-based paint.

Many homes in the Twin Cities area wee built before 1978 when the paint was banned but there are a few qualifications to apply for the grant including an income limit & you must have children under the age of six in the home.
