MN Carbon Monoxide Law
Friday, October 10, 2008
This August a new carbon monoxide law was implented (see MN Stat. 299.51). It requires that every home have a carbon monoxide alarm installed within ten feet of each bedroom. The alarms can be hardwired, batter-powered, or plugged in.
So sellers be aware that when you go to sell, you should have these alarms installed. If a buyer is harmed, they could come back to you for damages.
