Inside the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory the Sunken Garden is in bloom with it's Spring Flower Show. There are thousands of tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, iris, pansies, snapdragons & more!

Admission is FREE with a voluntary donation of $2 per adult & $1 per child. This event runs through April 22nd so be sure to stop by & take in the beauty of this beautiful show.

Green Sneakers & Community Involvement to Help with Hunger Relief

Green Sneakers, a program that provides a great fundraising opportunity, has set up a statewide challenge. Rum River Elementary is competing with other schools to collect them most pairs of used sneakers. If you have sneakers to donate, just tie the laces together and drop them in the box at Andover City Hall. Community involvement could help them win an extra $5,000 which they will used to pack meals for hunger relief.

Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) launched a (NSP) Neighborhood Stabilization Program back in March of 2010 to handle the growing number of foreclosures in the area. Below is a list of the available remodeled homes. There are several other homes currently under construction.
