Wednesday July, 2nd eight members of the Project to Stop the War Industry (PSWI) handcuffed themselves together & laid down in front of the entrance to Federal Cartridge.

The Anoka & Coon Rapids Police Department plus the Coon Rapids Fire Department responded to the incident. The protestors were asked to disperse & when they didn’t cooperate they were placed under arrest.

PSWI released a statement that read: “Federal Cartridge Company won a $30 million contract to produce ammunition for the U.S. military in 2003. It’s currently manufacturing ammunition under a $9 million contract for ammunition for use by the U.S. military.”
