We get phone calls from sellers who are not our clients.  Some of these sellers are under contract with other agents. We are unable to call sellers who are under contract or solicit their business. 

They usually ask why their home has been on the market so long. When asked if their agent has ever suggested a price improvement the answer is almost always yes. It is as though they are trying to find an agent who will tell them something else.

When a home has been on the market for a long time sometimes the sellers switch agents. There are homes that have been on the market over a year & some that have been listed through several agents.

It makes you question if the sellers listened to their Realtor or just switched agents when price improvement was suggested. When these sellers come to us and their home has been listed by several agents we ask a lot of questions before agreeing to look at the home.

Sometimes it isn't the home or the Realtor holding up a sale, but the sellers.
