Starting today and running through February 7th, you can visit a village of Art Shanties. This project is in its seventh winter. Artists create their own masterpiece inspired by the ice fishing houses that are scattered all over Minnesotan lakes. The event takes place on Medicine Lake & is free to view.

The Minnesota Children's Museum is hosting a family service event called "Small Hands, Big Hearts: Sparking the Spirit of Giving" January 16th thru the 30th. From 10am till 2pm kids and their parents can create placemats for Meals on Wheels; make cards for wounded veterans and hospitalized children; and more!

The What a Girl Wants Women's Expo is on celebrating its fifth year! The expo is being held at The Seasons at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids from 4-9pm on January 12th.
